How to Make Homemade Hot Honey Recipe

- Warm the honey: Add honey and red pepper flakes to a saucepan and heat over medium heat until it becomes thin and pourable.

- Simmer gently: Cook for about 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. You don’t want the honey to boil, just to warm enough to let the flavors blend.
- Cool and strain: Remove from the heat and stir in the apple cider vinegar, mixing well. Let it cool slightly. Strain out the pepper flakes using a fine mesh strainer if you prefer a smoother honey or leave them in for extra heat and visual appeal.
