Mustard Glazed Ham ~ Delicious Main Dish

Tender, juicy ham that has amazing flavor from the mustard and brown sugar glaze that just takes minutes to prep. A great way to feed a hungry crowd or meal prep for a busy week.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Half Ham or Spiral Cut Ham
  • Spicy Brown Mustard
  • Brown Sugar
  • Ground Rosemary
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper

How to Make Mustard Glazed Ham:

  • Set ham out to come to room temperature. Remove packaging and pat dry with paper towels. Place on a baking sheet.

  • Add the mustard, brown sugar, rosemary, garlic, smoked paprika, salt and pepper to a bowl.

  • Mix to combine.

  • Spread mustard and brown sugar glaze all over ham.

Grilling Instructions:

  • Cook ham over indirect fire at about 300° using hickory or pecan for smoke flavor.

  • Close the grill and cook for about 2 hours or until internal temperature of ham reaches 145°.

  • Remove from grill and rest about 10 minutes before slicing.

Oven Directions:

  • Cook ham on a baking sheet in a 325° oven for 1 1/2 – 2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 145°.
  • Rest ham about 10 minutes before slicing.

How to Store and Reheat:

Store leftover ham wrapped in plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate up to 4 days.

Ham can be frozen up to 3 months. Store in vacuum sealed bags or 2 layers of plastic wrap and a layer of aluminum foil.

To reheat ham, place slices in a skillet with a few tablespoons of water over medium heat. Turn to warm both sides.

  1. I’ve been on Pinterest for many years now and this is the very first time I’ve commented on anything. I used fresh garlic because I didn’t have granulated, and I used horseradish mustard because it was either that or regular mustard in my fridge. I have to say that this was hands down, the best ham I have ever made or tasted! Everyone I made this for tonight agreed!! Thank you so much for sharing!! This is now my go to recipe for baked ham. And BTW, I baked it didn’t grill it. I’ll try that next!😁❤
