Step-By-Step Directions for Easy Tortellini Soup

  1. Brown Italian sausage in a Dutch oven or a Large Pot.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced red pepper, cook 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in tortellini and cook for 5 minutes. 
  5. Add spinach, cook for 5 minutes, stirring often. 
  6. Add minced garlic and diced red pepper, cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  7. Continue to stir until soup has thickened slightly. 
  8. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.

  • 1 pound sweet Italian Sausage
