Easy Blueberry Cobbler Recipe

This is the kind of cobbler that tastes just like grandma would make. So perfect warm from the oven and an easy dessert that anyone can make. 

It only takes about 10 minutes to put this Blueberry Cobbler Recipe together and it bakes up into a delicious dessert that the entire family will love. We love it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a huge dollop of fresh whipped cream.

How to make Blueberry Cobbler

  • Pour melted butter into a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Fresh Blueberries for cobbler

  • In a mixing bowl combine blueberries with lime juice and set aside. 
  • In a separate mixing bowl combine flour and sugar.
  • Add milk, buttermilk, and vanilla and whisk together. 
  • Whisk in baking powder. 

Making old fashioned blueberry cobbler

  • Pour over butter. 

How to Make Blueberry Cobbler with fresh or frozen blueberries

  • Pour blueberry mixture over batter. Do not stir. 

Baked Blueberry Cobbler

  • Bake for 40-50 minutes or until center is set and edges are golden brown. 
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or sweetened whipped cream.

You can use either fresh or frozen blueberries (or other fruit) for this classic cobbler. If you are using frozen blueberries, do not thaw them or it will turn your cobbler batter a blue-purple tint. Blueberry pie filling will also work great in this recipe. You will probably want to use 2 cans or jars. 

How Long Do You Bake Blueberry Cobbler?

This classic blueberry cobbler will bake in about 40- 50 minutes. Oven temperatures and times will vary slightly and could take a bit longer.

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

You should be ashamed of putting this crap out on the internet. Is there an actual recipe? Beats me a I see are little fraser ads and state farm ads.

  4. This Blueberry cobbler is such a great choice for winter since I can use up all my frozen blueberries. Served it with old-fashioned vanilla ice cream and it was amazing.
