  1. This recipe looks amazing!! I see that it makes 8 servings, what size shot glasses are these? I was thinking of using a 3 oz plastic shot glass.

    Thank you!

    1. I made these using 5 oz snack cups with overs for a pot luck- they were the perfect size and a single recipe made 10 cups. Everyone raves about how good they were!

  2. Made these for a potluck and they were a hit I used 5oz snack cups with covers ( from Walmart-pkg of 20) The only thing I did different from the recipe was that I added about an additional TBL of crumbs on the top layer of cream cheese mixture, before I added the top layer of cherries. I just wanted there to be a layer of crunch in the top half of the desert as well as at the bottom. They were delicious and everybody raved about how good they were and how pretty they looked on the table. This will definitely be my go to desert when I am in a hurry. I plan to try it with peach or berry pie filling next time, and with fresh strawberries or my homemade strawberry jam in the spring!

    1. Hi Carolyn,
My family would love the additional crumbs in the top layer, they are all about the crunch! So glad you enjoyed it and it’s great with any fruit topping, I use drained crushed pineapples too.
      Appreciate you stopping by!

  3. I’ve made these once and I had to add powdered sugar and pudding mix to the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk as it was too soupy otherwise. It just never thickened up like described. Did I do something wrong? They were great btw.

    1. Hi Sandy,
Did you add the lemon juice? That is what helps to thicken the pie filling and it has to chill to completely set up. Those are the only things I can think of that would make a difference. I’ve made this so many times and never had any issues. I hope that helps.
