Pineapple Lemonade
We are officially kicking off summer this week. No more school! We survived seventh grade! Wahoo. I know it's earlier than most but we start back to school the first week of August and I'm never ready for that.
Now it's time for cookouts and swimming pool time. We had our first cookout of the season on Friday. It was our typical impromptu get together but so much fun.
My husband and kids made me an awesome bar- height table for the deck for Mother's Day. It is the perfect addition to our deck and pool area. It's so dang cool, I will have to get some pictures to share.
The top is made from two huge cedar slabs from a tree that they cut down on the ranch while clearing brush. My guys are so talented.
While we were getting the grill ready we had chips, guacamole and my Aunt Carolyn's homemade salsa that my mom was sweet enough to share. I will have to see if I can share that recipe with y'all, it is seriously the best ever.
I made a batch of this Pineapple Lemonade and it was the perfect drink with the chips and salsa.
We grilled the biggest T-bone steaks with some amazing creamy dill potato salad! You might have caught a glimpse on my instastory - on instagram. I share lots of behind the scenes there if you like that sort of thing.
Good food and time with my family, my favorite things. It was just the best time and it was exactly what I needed after a hectic week.
We spent a few days with my folks in Arkansas last weekend and I spent this week catching up. It was like a whirlwind, I don't even know where the week went.
There really needs to be a vacation after vacation time, ya know? Time to recover before going right back to the crazy-busy every day stuff. Of course, I rarely take a day off and still had to work while we were there. I still need a work intervention.
How to Make Pineapple Lemonade:
- prepared lemonade (Country Time works well or my homemade lemonade is also incredible).
- pineapple juice
- sprite
Simply mix the ingredients together in a pitcher and chill until ready to serve. Pineapple juice will settle as it sits, so give it a good stir before serving.
These simple ingredients are great to keep on hand for every summer cookout, July 4th party or just for sipping on the front porch. My kids are also loving this Frosted Pineapple Lemonade for a cool and refreshing treat.

I found these super cute acrylic glasses at Walmart (hard to see but they have pineapples cut into them) and I also love serving it in these cute pineapple glasses from Amazon that I used for my Pineapple Wine Punch. A great party drink for the adults! I get many requests for Pineapple Vodka Lemonade that's an easy cocktail for any occasion.
This pineapple lemonade is a favorite on a hot day and it's so refreshing after a big swim in the pool and if you love summer peaches, give our Peach Lemonade a try!

The lemonade pineapple punch sounds delicious. Can I add alcohol since we have no young children here anymore?
Milisa

Britt
How much of each ingredient would I need if it was for a party of say 30 people?
Milisa
Hi Britt,
I would do a multiple of 10 of the recipe. So 2 1/2 gallons of lemonade, 1 1/4 gallons of pineapple juice and about 5 liters of Sprite. I hope that helps.

Marcie
Thinking about making this for a baby shower this weekend and want to make it pink instead of yellow. What do you think is the best option -- add some grenadine or fresh strawberry puree? Or something else? Thanks!
Michelle
Use pink lemonade mix
Anthony
What is the ratio for 15 kids?
Milisa
Hi Anthony,
I would do 1 gallon of lemonade, 8 cups of pineapple juice, 8 cups of Sprite to serve 15.

Eyvonne Sallee
I need to make 5gallons of this Pineapple lemonade what do you think I should use.
Milisa
Hi Eyvonne,
If you mean how to convert the recipe to make 5 gallons, you will need to multiply the recipe by 10. I hope that helps.
~ Milisa
Susan
Does this recipe make a gallon?
Milisa
Hi Susan,
It makes about a third of a gallon, just multiply the recipe by 3 for about a gallon.

Beth
How much would I need to use for a wedding for 300 guests?
Carla
How much to make a gallon. I didn't see the instructions on that.
Korrie Locken
If I make a very large batch, can it be stored in mason jars and given out as gifts? Or will it go bad with the pop in it?
Milisa
Hi Korrie,
The pop will go flat in about a day. I hope that helps.
