I’m a big fan of creating family friendly party drinks that everyone can enjoy. When we entertain, it’s always a family affair and I want the kids to enjoy the festivities just as much as the adults.

I always include something tasty like my Easy Party Punch, Pineapple Lemonade  or these simple Piña Colada Mocktails. They can all be made ahead of the party and ready to serve. If you are looking for the traditional cocktail, my Easy Piña Coladas are just as delicious with the addition of rum.

Ingredients for Pina Colada Mocktail with fresh pineapple, limes and coconut milk

How to Make Piña Colada Mocktails:

  1. Place frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, coconut milk, simple syrup, and lime juice to a blender.
    Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh pineapple wedges and maraschino cherries if desired.

Tips for Making Piña Colada Mocktails:

Fresh pineapple can be used instead of frozen. You can serve over ice or add ice to the blender for a frozen mocktail.

I cut my fresh pineapple into chunks and placed them in a baggie and froze them for about 4 hours before I made the drinks. This can be done ahead of time. Frozen pineapple will keep about 3-4 months.

Make these mocktails ahead and place in a zip top freezer bag and freeze until ready to serve.

If you are not a fan of coconut, GASP! You can skip the coconut milk and use regular milk or cream in it’s place.

    1. Hi Dawn,
Simple syrup is just equal parts sugar and water. I use hot, not quite boiling water and mix until sugar is dissolved. It’s best to chill it before making drinks.
