Smoked Turkey Sandwich
My guys would eat sandwiches 3 meals a day, seven days a week and never get tired of them. For me, they have to be something over the top for me to get excited about a sandwich. The fresh vegetables, Cajun mayo along with the smoked turkey on a toasted baguette had my full attention.
How to Make the Ultimate Smoked Turkey Sandwich:
- Toast a large baguette and slice into thirds and then horizontally.
- Mix blackened seasoning into mayonnaise and spread on both sides of bread.
- Top with leaf lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, red onion and thinly sliced smoked turkey.
- Top with baguette tops and serve immediately.
If you are not a mayo fan, you can mix the blackened seasoning in with mustard or barbecue sauce.
