Red, White and Blue Slush ~ Patriotic Party Drinks

If you are looking for a fun and easy party drink for 4th of July celebrations, this easy frozen punch is just the ticket. Prep the ingredients ahead of the party for an easy drink that everyone will love.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Hawaiian Punch ~ Fruit Juicy Red
  • Sprite
  • Hawaiian Punch ~ Polar Blast

How to Make Red White and Blue Slushes:

6 ice trays with red and blue punch, sprite.

  • Pour both kinds of Hawaiian Punch and Sprite in ice cube trays overnight. We did 2 ice trays of each.

3 ice cube trays, sprite, blue and red punch.

  • Freeze overnight or until frozen solid.
  • Working with one color of the ice trays at once, place the ice cubes in a blender.

  • Start with the frozen Sprite and blend until finely crushed.
  • Scrape the Sprite slush into a bowl and return to the freezer.

  • Next, add the Polar Blast Hawaiian ice cubes to the blender, blending until fine. 
  • Scrape into a bowl and return to the freezer.

Blending frozen fruit punch into slush.

  • Wash the blender pitcher and dry. 
  • Add the Fruit Juicy Red Hawaiian Punch ice cubes to the blender and blend until finely crushed. Pour into a bowl and return to the freezer.

  • To make the drinks: Spoon the frozen red Hawaiian Punch into the bottom of each glass, top with Sprite layer and finish with Polar Blast, blue layer. 
  • Slush drinks can be covered and returned to the freezer until ready to serve or serve immediately.

Recipe Notes:

  • Any red and blue punch or Kool-Aid will work for this recipe. 
  • The punch creates more volume than the Sprite, if you want even layers, freeze an extra 2 ice trays of Sprite.
  • Ice cubes can be made in advance and stored in a freezer, zip top bag up to 3 months. Blend when ready to serve.
  • The slushes can be also stored in a zip top bag up to 3 months in the freezer.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Hawaiian Punch Fruit Juicy Red
  • 4 cups Sprite lemon lime soda
  • 4 cups Hawaiian Punch Polar Blast

Instructions

  • Fill 2 ice cube trays with each of the Hawaiian Punch Fruit Juicy Red and Polar Blast and the Sprite.
  • Freeze overnight or until frozen solid.
  • Blend frozen Sprite cubes until finely crushed. Pour into a bowl and return to the freezer,
  • Next, blend the red fruit punch ice cubes until fine and place in a bowl. Return to the freezer.
  • Wash the blender cup and dry well.
  • Add the blue polar blast ice cubes and blend until fine. Place in a bowl and return to the freezer.
  • To assemble the drinks, spoon layers of the red fruit punch, the sprite and the blue punch.
  • Serve immediately.
