I made a quick trip into Walmart before the weekend to stock up. I picked up some things for grilling, and for a huge batch of guacamole. I also grabbed some fresh blackberries, lime and 7UP® for these fabulous mojitos!
I am pretty partial to my Pineapple Margaritas but I have to say these Blackberry Mojitos are pretty fantastic. The blackberry, mint and lime are just so refreshing and delicious!
I had a mojito at some sort of get together about a hundred years ago and loved it. Our wild blackberry bushes are loaded with blooms. I am anxiously awaiting those ripe berries! In the meantime a blackberry mojito cocktail just had to happen.
Mojitos are really easy to make with a few fresh ingredients, rum and 7UP. No fancy shaker or blender is necessary, making these the perfect drink for relaxing with friends.
How to Make Easy Blackberry Mojitos:
Start by adding a few mint leaves, fresh blackberries and a squeeze of lime to a glass.
Gently muddle the blackberries, mint and lime together.
Add lots of crushed ice over the berry mixture.
Add a splash of rum and top with crisp, clean 7UP and give it a good stir. If you have kids running around, just skip the rum and you have a totally family- friendly summer drink!
I actually loved them just as much without the rum! Blackberry Lemonade is also a favorite that everyone can enjoy.
Garnish with fresh lime, blackberries and mint for a gorgeous and refreshing cocktail!
Rather you are just enjoying a relaxing cocktail after work or entertaining friends over the weekend, these Easy Blackberry Mojitos will be a big hit. I am pretty laid back when it comes to entertaining.
I go for easy appetizers and drinks and I don’t sweat the small stuff. I just enjoy the time to catch up with everyone.
I rarely plan ahead but I always pick up plenty of chips and salsa from Walmart plus lots of charcoal for grilling and last minute get togethers. Impromptu gatherings are usually my favorite.
So next time you are at Walmart, be sure to pick up a bottle or two of 7UP, a few fresh limes and fresh blackberries. Grab a mint plant if you don’t already have one. I often find them in the produce section.
I love keeping fresh herbs in my kitchen window. You will be all set for this summer’s best cocktail!

If you are looking for the glassware I used for these drinks, I originally purchased them from Walmart but haven’t seen them there recently. I did find the same drinkware on Amazon.
