Helpful Tools for Cocktails:

I first made this tasty drink back in 2012, it has since been very popular and I have made it again and again. I wanted to update it with a few new photos and the bonus was a tasty weekend cocktail!

It has been featured on Country Living and Cosmo, which totally makes my day!

It really is one of my favorites and you can easily double the batch if are hosting a big crowd. It is also perfectly fine to make up a batch and freeze it. Enjoy a wine slushie or have it ready to go for those spontaneous get togethers.

Easy Strawberry Wine Cocktail in stemless wine glasses with a bowl of strawberries

I am not much of a planner so basically all of my get togethers are spontaneous. I think it is a combination of my being perpetually too busy (crazy) and life on the ranch.

It never fails that when I make a plan, something happens and the plans ultimately change. I have learned to go with the flow.

That doesn’t keep us from having a ball when it things all work out. We always have delicious food and plenty of refreshing drinks.

We put in an above ground pool last summer and it is the favorite gathering place for the whole clan. Best idea ever. It’s so much fun and the perfect way to relax when the temperatures are blazing hot.

  1. I am making this Christmas eve, but first a question. Should the recipe read – 1/2 of a 2 liter bottle of Sprite instead of 1/2 liter?
    Thank you!

    1. Hi Cheryl,
I am just seeing this, 1/2 liter but that’s just an estimate. I normally just fill the pitcher to the top. I hope you enjoyed it.

  2. Hello, I am looking forward to making this but I wanted to point out that the nutrition info is wrong. Every ingredient in this drink contributes calories unless you use diet soda. Nothing contributes cholesterol or protein, but the Bacardi mix definitely provides carbohydrates and maybe some fiber. Thank you for providing the recipe, though!

  3. Trying to make this for a wedding. We we’re trying to figure for 6 gallons…any suggestions of amounts would be great.. Thanks in advance!

    1. I made this for my sister in laws wedding. I used 1 big bottle of strawberry daiquiri mix (not the frozen one) I used 3 bottles of wine and 2 liter bottles of sprite. Tasted great! But this was about 4 gallons, I think

  4. Can this be made the night before the event? Planning to make a large quantity and putting them into those drink pouches they sell on Amazon.

    1. Hi Kim,
You can make it the night before if you refrigerate it. It might lose a bit of the fizz but in sealed pouches, it should be fine.

  5. Hi Milisa, Wondering how much bottle strawberry daiquiri mix you use for a gallon? We don’t have the frozen cans of it here.
