This avocado salsa is basically a the best of pico de gallo and guacamole and it is so delicious that you may want to make a double batch. There’s just a few ingredients but the combination is irresistible.

Ingredients Needed

  • Avocado
  • Tomato
  • Red Onion
  • Bell Pepper
  • Poblano Pepper or Jalapeño
  • Lime Juice
  • Granulated Garlic
  • Fresh Ground Pepper
  • Kosher Salt
  • Cilantro

Step By Step Directions

Chopped vegetables, avocados for salsa.
  • Peel avocados, remove the pit and dice.
  • Dice tomatoes, discarding the seeds.
  • Dice peppers, discarding veins and seeds.
  • Dice red onion.
  • Chop the cilantro.
  • Cut the lime in half.

Place all of the vegetables in a bowl with cilantro.

Squeeze lime juice over the top. Season with garlic, kosher salt and pepper.

Gently toss until well combined.

Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container up to 1 day but best served right away.

Variations: Use any combination of crunchy vegetables, any variety of tomatoes, peppers and onions that you like or have on hand. Finely diced pineapple is also a great addition.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced avocado
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced red onion
  • 1 cup diced poblano peppers or jalapeños
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions
