The Best Chocolate Cookies are a breeze to make. They are buttery, rich and have a touch of peanut butter that goes delightfully with the chocolate. You really can’t go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate together in a cookie. They received rave reviews from my crowd and I am sure your crowd will love them too. You know you’ve gotta have some, maybe with a tall glass of milk or a cup of coffee.
The Best Chocolate Cookies
1 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup peanut butter (I used crunchy but creamy will work too)
2 tablespoons brewed coffee
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
In a large mixing bowl, stir melted butter and cocoa together until well combined. Add in egg, peanut butter and coffee, stir to combine. Next stir in powdered sugar until combined and then flour and baking soda until all is mixed together. Shape dough into about 1 1/2 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on lined or greased baking sheet. Press carefully with fork tines to flatten. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, remove to wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
