Today I'm sharing tips on how to Make a Welcoming Entry Way plus a new recipe for White Chocolate No Bake Cookies just in time for back to school! This is a sponsored post in partnership with Wayfair.
The entry way to our house is also my office. It has tons of natural light and is a great space to welcome guests.
I recently added this Home Dynamix Catalina Area Rug to my office/entry way from Wayfair. The earthy tones with splashes of red gave the entry a welcoming feel to our home. I also love that it brightened up the space and gave it some much needed character.
If you are like me, clutter is an inevitable part of life. We tend to walk in the door and set everything down. So my entry way tends to be filled with boots, hats, the mail, lunch boxes, book bags along with feed buckets and everything in between.
I have a few small cabinets and a book shelf to help contain the messes. I keep baskets for gloves and miscellaneous tools that the guys bring in. This keeps the piles at a minimum and the guys can still find their things.
My desk sits opposite of the door and it's where I take my food photos. Most days it is a complete mess, just keeping it real here.
On this particular day, I had a very special house guest and she thought the rug made the space a little more awesome to play in. This is my youngest niece, also known as the cutest kid in town.
I also like to keep the cookie jar full, so that I have something for guests to nibble on when they come over. This summer has been so stinking hot and no bake cookies are my favorite to keep on hand.
I was out of peanut butter, which is basically a crime at my house, so I decided to try a White Chocolate No Bake Cookie recipe. They took a bit to set up but once they did, I could not stop eating them.
No Bake Cookies are the best for packing in lunches and nibbling on throughout the day. The white chocolate makes them pretty sweet and pretty addictive! School starts next Thursday. I am so not prepared. It seems like summer just started but back to school it is.
I guess I will console myself with another round of White Chocolate No Bake Cookies and maybe a batch of these no bake Date Balls!
- ¼ cup butter

Wayfair has become my go-to place for online shopping. They have EVERYTHING I love! If you are looking to brighten up a room or make a welcoming entry way, spend some time looking around. There are tons of options and inspiring ideas for decorating your home.
