We will likely have our usual quiet evening with the family. I think it will be card games, lots of good food, and maybe a cocktail for us and Easy Party Punch for the kids.
Not too exciting but it is really what I prefer. I have been thinking about the goals I want to meet in 2014 and all of the accomplishments of 2013.
I have the standard hopes of exercising more and getting more organized. So let’s get to the fun stuff! In addition to these delicious Pom Tequila Sunrise Cocktails, here’s a little party inspiration for you!
In the meantime I will be enjoying my son being home from college and the time with my family. I hope y’all all have a fantastic New Year’s and if you decide to enjoy a little of the bubbly or a fruity cocktail, please enjoy it responsibly.
- 1 ounce Pomegranate Juice
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 4 oz orange juice
- 8 oz lemon-lime soda
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz triple sec
- lemon slices for garnish
Pour pomegranate juice in the bottom of 2 glasses. Fill each glass 3/4 full with crushed ice.
Mix lemon juice, orange juice, lemon-lime soda, tequila and triple sec until well blended. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices.
