Fizzy Fruity Ice Cream Floats from Southern Living Scooped Ice Cream Treats, Cheats, and Frozen Eats are the ultimate treat according to my kids!
Ice cream is the dessert of choice for my boys and my husband and when floats are on the table, everyone is in! The first time I attempted to take photos of these Fizzy Fruity Ice Cream Floats, there was a line in the kitchen and before I could turn around they were all gone!
This is a simple treat that is great for after school, as a quick dessert for busy weeknights and perfect for a crowd. It’s so easy to customize with everyone’s favorite soda. I think I may do these for Emmet’s birthday party later this year.
This recipe comes from the new Southern Living Scooped Ice Cream Treats, Cheats, and Frozen Eats cookbook. It is much more than ice cream cones and floats! There are incredible pies, cakes, sundaes, shakes and more. Over 101 super-easy desserts featuring store bought ice cream. Plus homemade ice cream, toppings and more. I have about 10 recipes bookmarked to try immediately. With recipes for Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie and Mississippi Mudslides you are going to want this cookbook in your kitchen!
