I love banana pudding and can’t wait to make this! I have a question first, why do you use flour versus cornstarch? Thank you!
Hi Lisa,
It’s just the way I have always made pudding. You can use cornstarch instead of flour, just use 1/2 of the amount of cornstarch. I hope you get the chance to try it.

I don’t understand why cookies are put into banana pudding. That’s terrible. Why not simply just make pudding?
Hi Michael,
You can certainly leave them out.

I had 3 small ripe bananas and just mashed them and put them in the pudding at the end. No cookies. Chilling it now. The spatula and whisk tasted good though. I don’t like throwing out food and this is a quick, easy way to put the bananas to use.
Hi Kurt,
That sounds amazing! Thanks for stopping by with your idea and 5 star rating!
