Today I have a fabulous giveaway for the Anolon Nouvelle Copper 3 QT. Covered Casserole and Easy Cheese Tortellini with Meat Sauce all to continue my 40th birthday celebration!
I love to celebrate the birthdays of my three boys but when it comes to my own, I usually prefer it to be pretty quiet. This year I thought I’d have a little fun since it’s my fortieth and that seems to be some kind of dreaded milestone. I am approaching it as something to celebrate and I have some great food and some great giveaways for you this week!
My middle son has basketball practice at varying times in the evenings and so I usually need something quick to feed him the moment he walks in or something that will taste just as good if it has to wait awhile. I picked up some tortellini from the store and made a quick meat sauce, added a salad and some French bread and it couldn’t have been easier!
Of course if you are in a bigger hurry skip the tomatoes and just use your favorite marinara sauce from a jar, it’s all good. It is filling, it is tasty and my boys loved it.
The Anolon 3 Qt. Covered Casserole has hide sides making it perfect for one dish meals and I love that it comes with a lid. Perfect for keeping things warm while we wait for basketball practice to be over.
This Anolon® Nouvelle Copper casserole pan features durable, hard anodized construction crafted with copper to deliver optimum heat control and perfect cooking performance. The double full cap base features a copper core, enveloped between aluminum, completed with a magnetized stainless steel base. The copper and aluminum provide excellent heat conduction, and the stainless steel base makes this cookware suitable for all cooktops, including induction.
Last fall I participated in the Virtual Potluck Anolon event and fell in love with the Nouvelle Copper line of Anolon. I loved it so much that I bought this very pan for my sister-in-law for Christmas. This is a quote that she put on twitter, “ can’t thank you enough for my @Anolon pans, I love them! I swear they make everything taste better!”
Now wouldn’t you love to have this fantastic Anolon Nouvelle Copper Covered Casserole? I knew you would! It will become your favorite, you will wonder how you ever got by in the kitchen with out it!

Easy Cheese Tortellini with Meat Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 shallot, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 19 oz package frozen cheese tortellini
- 1/4 cup fresh basil cut into ribbons
Directions:
Add ground beef to pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring often to break it into crumbles and brown on all sides, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from pan into a bowl, drain excess grease if needed and set aside.
Add diced tomatoes, sugar, shallot and butter to pan and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook 20 minutes, stirring often.
Return browned ground beef to the pan with the tomatoes, stir in Parmesan, half and half and tortellini. Raise to medium heat and cover with lid. Cook for 5 minutes, stir well, lower heat to medium-low and cover. Cook an additional 5 to 8 minutes or until tortellini are heated through.
Stir in fresh basil and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
Miss

This looks tasty. I like that you used tortellini.
Simple and flavorful — perfect for our busy family!
I have a new-found love for tortellini. This looks great!
The 11 Piece Set with the bonus!!! =) If you’re gonna dream, dream big, right?!! But if I had to pick just one piece, I’d go with the 8 Quart Covered Stockpot, I like making my own stock for soups (especially during this freezing cold weather!)

As far as the analon set-i love it all, so i would leave it up to you to pick out your favorite piece if i was to win.
the 8 Quart Covered Stockpot would definitely come in handy as well!
I would like to have the 8 Quart Covered Stockpot because I have been making lots of soup and sauce!

12 inch Stirfry
I am loving that covered casserole – it’s an item I don’t have. I’m also eyeing up that 8″ skillet, since I only have 2 large ones. Happy Birthday again, Milisa!
This…this looks so good!!! And comforting! Your photographs are so beautiful, Milisa!

Favorite. Dish. In. Life.
I would have to say that I would love the 11 piece set. I have a mismatched well worn set of pots and pans and could really use an entire set! If I had to pick only one piece it would be the 2 qt. covered saucepan as I use mine almost every night!

my stock pot is a total piece of garbage – Sooo… the 8 Quart Covered Stockpot SKU: 82520 would be a welcome addition to the rack.
That is one nice 3 qt covered casserole. I don’t even own anything like that.
If I had to pick one piece, it would be the 8 qt covered stock pot. It would be perfect to feed a larger crowd as I’m always having family over to eat.

6.5-Quart Covered Chef Pan with Helper Handle in the Analon Advance bronze sure looks like a good keeper if I could afford it. It’s such a nice color not usually seen with cookware.
I have fallen in love with those Analon pots and pans, I reach for them even more than the Al-Clad and Calphalon. It’s crazy. Great recipe too!
I’d love to have the 8 quart covered stockpot.

What a tastey looking recipe, great photos, too!
In terms of what I would get, if I was being responsible with my money, I would probably get the skillet twin pack, as I actually need a non-stick skillet for eggs and such. I really like the 3-Quart casserole, though, just for having.
Aw man, it’s almost lunch, and now I’m super hungry. Thanks a lot!
I would like the 12 inch stir fry

I would like to have the 12 Inch Stir Fry pan. We make stir-fries frequently, but we only have a frying pan – it works, but not very well!
