Quick Ham and Cheese Roll Up Snacks

Here is a quick snack perfect for kids and adults alike.  These would be a hit for the guys watching the game or when your are invaded by a house full of teenagers or in my case where two teenagers seem like a house full!  Just a few simple ingredients and you have a tasty snack to grab on the go or pack these in a lunch box for a new twist on ham and cheese.

As Christmas approaches, it seems time goes by faster and faster, so I like to have things like this on hand that can be ready to go without any planning.  I feel like it’s going to be a last minute shopping kind of year this year.  I have bought just a couple of things so far; what about you, are all of your gifts wrapped and under the tree?

Quick Ham and Cheese Roll Up Snacks

Ingredients:

2  11 oz cans refrigerated bread stick dough

1/2 cup ranch dressing

12 thin slices black forrest ham

1 1/2 cups Colby-Jack cheese, shredded

Cooking Directions:
Unroll 1 can bread stick dough, but don’t separate into individual bread sticks.  Press seams lightly together and form a rectangle.  Spread 1/4 cup ranch dressing over dough, layer six ham slices to cover entire area, sprinkle with 3/4 cup cheese.  Starting on one narrow end, roll up pressing end seam to seal.  Slice with a bread knife on seams into 8 slices.  Place each slice cutside down on a lined or greased baking sheet.  Repeat with remaining ingredients.  Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until bread has cooked through.  Serve warm or at room temperature.

Enjoy!

This would be a great game day snack, Milisa! Regarding Christmas shopping, I haven’t bought one single gift yet! I plan to do most of it on-line…I guess I better get to it, huh?
