- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 pound spaghetti cooked and drained
- 10 ounces broccoli florets (frozen or fresh) Steamed
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespon rice vinegar
- ⅔ cup pure maple syrup or honey
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 2 green onions sliced thin for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef with garlic and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, orange juice, maple syrup or honey, rice vinegar and corn starch.
After draining the pasta, add the sauce and cook, whisking occasionally until it starts to thicken.
Add cooked pasta and ground beef, tossing to coat well. Stir in broccoli.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator 2-3 days.
Reheat: Cook in a pan over medium heat, adding a bit of water if needed, stirring until heated through.
Make it spicy: Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick.
