- ¼ cup butter softened
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 slices bread white or wheat
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together with a fork until well combined.
Spread onto one side of each slice of bread.
Place cinnamon-sugar bread into hot waffle iron and cook for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
Carefully remove from the waffle iron and cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Leftovers can be wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in refrigerator for 1-2 days.
Reheat in toaster oven or air fryer.
