This Pork Loin Roast is rubbed with bacon fat and a few simple spices. It is so simple to prepare and makes a wonderfully moist and tender pork roast perfect for entertaining or every night dinners with the family.

Ingredients

  • 1 5 to 6 pound pork loin
  • 2 tablespoons bacon fat or olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Pat loin roast dry with paper towels.
  • Place in roasting pan and rub all over with bacon fat or olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic.
  • Bake for 2 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reaches 145°.
  • Allow pork to rest 10 minutes before slicing.
