- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
- 10 oz frozen spinach or 16 ounces fresh spinach
- 18 oz can water chestnuts drained and chopped
- 3 green onions chopped
Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix in a mixing bowl.
Cook frozen spinach according to package directions. Squeeze out excess water and add to the mixing bowl with the
Drain and dice water chestnuts and slice green onions and add to the mayo mixture.
Mix it all together really well, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
Variations:
- Spice it up with chopped candied jalapenos or red pepper flakes.
- Shred some Parmesan cheese and mix it in.
- Stir in chopped and drained artichoke hearts for spinach artichoke dip.
Storage: Spinach dip can be refrigerated in an airtight container up to 3 days. Stir before serving.
