Chocolate Gravy

Homemade Chocolate Gravy is one of my all- time favorite breakfasts from childhood. It’s the perfect weekend treat and chocolate for breakfast is always a great idea!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • cup sugar
  • cup all purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Add butter to a saucepan and place over medium heat. Add cocoa, sugar and floured whisking all together.
  • Add milk and whisk constantly. Bring to a boil, add chocolate chips and vanilla and stir until thick.
  • Serve over warm biscuits with additional butter if desired.
