Homemade Coleslaw
Homemade Coleslaw is a quick side dish to add to any dinner menu. Shredded cabbage and carrots with a creamy dressing that will compliment sandwiches, BBQ and more.

- 6 cups shredded cabbage or bag of slaw mix
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
In a serving bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Mix in the shredded cabbage and carrots until well combined.
Cover and refrigerate one hour or until ready to serve for the best flavor. Coleslaw can be served immediately if needed.
Additions: 1/2 cup sliced green onions, 1 tablespoon of celery seeds, 1/2 cup of diced apples.
Variations: Apple cider vinegar, red wine vinegar or white vinegar can be used.
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
