Air Fryer Taco Bowls

Air Fryer Taco Bowls are quick and easy to make for a delicious weeknight dinner that is a little healthier than the takeout version that we all love.

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas: soft taco or burrito size
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • You will need 2 small oven safe bowls to create a form. Alternately, you can use aluminum foil to shape the taco bowls.
  • Spray the tortillas with olive oil and rub over both sides evenly.
  • Place a bowl under the flour tortilla. 
  • Center the tortilla over the bowl. 
  • Place the second bowl over the top of the tortilla.
  • Place in the air fryer with the bowls facing down.
  • Cook for 2 minutes at 400°.
  • Remove the top bowl, using a pot holder (it will be hot) and continue to cook another 2 minutes.
  • Flip the tortilla and remove the bowl, using a pot holder. 
  • Continue to cook another 1- 2 minutes until golden brown.
  • Repeat with remaining flour tortillas. 

Oven Directions:

  • Place bowls or foil with flour tortillas on a lined baking sheet. 
  • Bake for 6 minutes. Remove the bowls and flip the tortillas. Continue to cook another 6- 8 minutes until golden brown.
  • Fill taco bowls with lettuce, taco meat and your favorite toppings. 

Notes

Store leftover taco bowls in a zip top bag at room temperature up to 2 days.
Reheat in air fryer or oven at 350° for about 5 minutes until heated through.
