No Mayo Coleslaw

No Mayo Coleslaw is a fantastic vinegar coleslaw for those that love slaw but don't love the creamy mayo dressing. Serve this delicious slaw with your favorite barbecue, fried chicken, burgers and more.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper.
  • 14 ounce slaw mix shredded cabbage and carrots

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, garlic, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • Add slaw mix and mix until cabbage is well coated with dressing.
  • Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • To Use a Head of Cabbage & Whole Carrots: 8 cups of shredded cabbage and one medium carrot, shredded is the same as the bag of slaw mix.
  • Add Ins: Add some crunch by adding diced celery or apples. Toasted walnuts or pecans add great flavor and crunch.
  • Storage: Store coleslaw in a covered container in the refrigerator up to 3 days, stir before serving.
