Amaretto Whiskey Sour

Amaretto Whiskey Sour is a combination of the classic whiskey sour and the amaretto sour. A tasty cocktail that is sure to be a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

  • fresh orange slices
  • fresh lemon slices
  • ice
  • 2 ounces Irish whiskey
  • 1 ounce amaretto liqueur
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 3-4 dashes bitters

Instructions

  • Muddle a slice of orange and a slice of lemon in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice.
  • Pour in whiskey, amaretto, triple sec and bitters.
  • Add the top of the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously.
  • Fill 2 old fashioned glasses half way with crushed ice.
  • Strain cocktail into glasses.
  • Garnish with lemon and orange slices if desired.
