Velveeta Cheese Dip

Velveeta Cheese Dip is the easiest queso to make to serve with chips or with your favorite Mexican dinners.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Velveeta Cheese
  • 10 ounce can RoTel Tomatoes and Chilies

Instructions

  • Cut Velveeta into chunks and place in a skillet with RoTel, undrained.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.

Microwave Directions:

  • Place ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and cook in 1 minute intervals, stirring in between, about 5 minutes until melted.

Notes

Optional Add Ins:
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, dash of chili powder.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream for extra creamy cheese dip.
  • 1 pound browned ground beef or Italian sausage
  • garnish with sliced green onions or chopped cilantro
Double recipe as needed.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
Reheat in a nonstick pan with 1/2 tablespoon of milk per cup of cheese dip over medium heat. Stir until melted.
Microwave in 1 minute intervals, stirring in between until melted.
