  • Add olive oil to a large skillet and place over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook stirring often until onions just start to brown.
  • Stir in tomato sauce.
  • Whisk in Best Dry Rub.
  • Lower heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Serve over pasta or spaghetti squash and top with Parmesan and parsley.

Notes

If you don't have roasted tomato sauce, substitute canned fire roasted tomatoes that have been blended smooth in a food processor.
Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freeze sauce in vacuum sealed bags for up to 1 year.
