- 5 pork steaks
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons ground pepper
- 1 cup peach bbq sauce plus more for serving
Heat the grill to 300° using hickory wood for smoke flavor.
Pat pork steaks dry with paper towels.
Season with salt and pepper on both sides and place on a baking sheet.
Place pork steaks over indirect heat and cook with the lid closed for 12- 15 minutes.
Turn and brush generously with peach bbq sauce.
Continue to cook with the lid closed another 5- 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145° with a digital thermometer.
Remove from grill and allow to rest under a foil tent for about 10 minutes before serving.
Oven Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and preheat oven to 350°.
- Place pork steaks on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Flip porks steaks and brush with peach bbq sauce.
- Continue to cook another 5 -10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°.
- Rest 10 minutes before serving.
