Easy Banana Pudding

Easy Banana Pudding is so simple to whip up for any occasion. A simple 5 ingredient homemade pudding layered with sliced bananas and vanilla wafers. The classic dessert that everyone loves!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 bananas
  • 35 vanilla wafer cookies
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine milk, sweetened condensed milk and flour. Whisk together until smooth.
  • Place over medium heat, whisking continually until thickened and just starts to boil.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Place egg yolks in a bowl and whisk in about 1 cup of hot filling mixture.
  • Mix egg mixture back into filling. Return to medium heat and continue whisking, bringing to a low boil.
  • Boil for 2 minutes, whisking continually.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling into serving dishes. Layer with sliced bananas, filling and vanilla wafers. Repeat layers ending with pudding.
  • Top with whipped topping, a slice of banana and a vanilla wafer.
  • Refrigerate for 3 hours or until chilled.

Notes

Pudding may be served warm if desired.
