Easy Guacamole

Easy Guacamole dip is a must have for taco night and your favorite Mexican dinners.  Ripe avocados are blended with lime, red onion, tomatoes and garlic for an easy appetizer for any party.

Ingredients

  • 5 avocados
  • Juice of one lime
  • 1/3 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Peel avocados and remove seeds, setting one seed aside.
  • Place avocado in a bowl with lime juice and mash with a fork, leaving a some chunks of avocado.
  • Stir in red onion, tomato, garlic, salt, cumin and red pepper flakes.
  • Place avocado seed in center of guacamole.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Guacamole is best served the day it is made. It can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 days.
