Maple Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 Niman Ranch Uncured Bacon Wrapped with Rosemary Pork Loin Chops
  • 4 oz pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary

Instructions

  • Set Niman Ranch Uncured Bacon and Rosemary Wrapped Pork Chops on counter to rest 30 minutes before cooking. 
  • Set a saucepan over medium- high heat and add maple syrup.
  • Whisk in granulated garlic, black pepper, smoked paprika, kosher salt and fresh rosemary. 
  • Bring mixture to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, whisking often. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • Place pork chops on a plate or baking sheet and brush glaze over all sides.
  • Prepare grill or oven to 350°.
  • If grilling: place pork chops of flame and sear 2 minutes. Move to indirect heat. Brush with any excess glaze. 
  • For baking: place on a baking sheet and brush with excess glaze. 
  • Cook for 22-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 145°. 
  • Remove from grill or oven and allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing.
