Easy Brown Sugar Glazed Ham is a great addition to any holiday meal. This spiral sliced ham is basted with pineapple juice and crusted with brown sugar and warm spices for the most flavorful ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 Petit Jean Meats Spiral Sliced Ham]
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chiil powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Set ham out about 2 hours before baking to come to room temperature.
  • Preheat oven to 325°
  • Place ham in a baking dish and pour pineapple juice over the top.
  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and spices.
  • Rub ham with brown sugar on all sides, pressing lightly.
  • Bake ham for 10 minutes per pound, basting with juices about every 20 minutes, until ham reaches an internal temperature of about 145°.

Notes

  • Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Use a vacuum sealer and store up to 7 days in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer.
  • Reheat: Reheat ham slices in a skillet, lightly covered with olive oil, over medium heat. Turn after a few minutes to heat from both sides.
