- 8 slices Petit Jean Hickory Smoked Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 pound pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups whole milk
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 3 cups shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary chopped fine
Boil pasta just until al dente and drain.
Add butter to a pan and place over medium- high heat.
As butter melts, add flour and salt and whisk, cooking about 2 minutes.
Add milk and whisk until combined. Add cream cheese and continue to whisk until smooth.
Add cheddar cheese and whisk until melted.
Add garlic, paprika and fresh ground pepper.
Continue cooking until sauce is thickened and smooth.
Stir in drained pasta and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
Top with crumbled bacon and fresh rosemary.
Serve immediately.
