Grilled Peaches, Basil and Honey Appetizer

Grilled Peaches, Basil and Honey Appetizer is simple, flavorful and delicious.  A super quick and easy appetizer for summer entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 2 peaches or nectarines
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • toasted whole grain bread baguette or crackers for serving

Instructions

  • Wash and dry peaches.
  • Cut peaches in half and remove pit.
  • Grill both sides for about 3 to 5 minutes each, just until fruit is charred and starts to soften.
  • Remove from grill and cool slightly.
  • Cut grilled peaches into bite- sized chunks.
  • Roll basil leaves together and slice thinly.
  • Place softened cream cheese on a serving plate, top with grilled peaches.
  • Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh basil.
  • Serve with toasted bread or crackers

Notes

Peaches can be grilled in advance. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
