I added peas and broccoli for some color and to get a veggie in there. I added a little beef broth and some of the pasta water to get the pasta to the consistency we like. The red pepper flakes and a splash of Tobacco are definitely a good addition to this. I’ve saved this recipe to use again with my added notes. Thanks!!

Hi Bobette,
You can add all of those into the casserole along with the tomatoes. You can also cook bell peppers and onions and mix them in with the tomatoes and pasta. I hope you try it.

You can use any roast recipe, our Rump Roast or Grilled Chuck Roast are a few of our favorites.
