Gimlet Cocktail
The Classic Gimlet Cocktail is a super simple mixed drink to create from your home bar. It's made with Gin, simple syrup and lime juice for a perfectly balanced cocktail for an evening at home or entertaining guests.

- 4 ounces London Dry Gin
- 1 1/2 ounces simple syrup
- 1 1/2 ounce lime juice
- ice
- lime slices for garnish
Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
Next add the gin.
Pour in lime juice.
Add simple syrup.
Add the top of the shaker and shake vigorously.
Strain into coupe glasses.
Garnish with a slice of lime.
- Best Gin: London Dry Gin - we like Tanqueray
- Substitute Vodka: Use your favorite, Titos or Smirnoff are great options.
- Simple Syrup: Made with equal parts sugar and boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Cool before using.
- Rose's Lime Juice can be used in place of the lime juice and simple syrup.
- Serve: Straight up or on the rocks.
