White Christmas Margaritas

White Christmas Margaritas are creamy coconut margaritas with tequila and lime. The perfect cocktail for celebrating the holidays in an easy large batch recipe.

Ingredients

  • 13.5 ounce coconut milk unsweetened
  • 12 ounces tequila
  • 4 ounces triple sec
  • 4 ounces simple syrup
  • 2 ounces lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • zest of one lime
  • Garnish: lime slices cranberries, fresh rosemary

Instructions

  • Add coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup and lime juice to a blender. 
    Blend on high for about 1 minute. 
  • Pour into a pitcher.
  • Mix sugar and lime zest together on a saucer. 
  • Rub honey around the rim of the glasses. Dip into lime sugar.
  • Fill glasses with crushed ice.
  • Pour margaritas over ice.
  • Garnish with lime slices, cranberries and rosemary if desired.

Notes

  • Simple Syrup: Made with equal parts sugar and boiling water. Stir together, cool before making cocktails. Refrigerate in a covered mason jar up to 2 weeks.
  • Make Ahead: Margaritas can be made ahead and refrigerated up to 1 week or frozen up to 3 months. Mix well before serving, the mixture will separates as it sits.
  • Frozen Margaritas: Add 4 cups ice to the blender with the other ingredients, blend until smooth.
