- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
- 8 ounces Mozzarella pearls
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Thread tomatoes and mozzarella pearls with fresh basil leaves onto appetizer picks.
Place on a serving platter.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
How to Make Balsamic Vinegar Glaze:
Add 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar and 3 tablespoons brown sugar to a small saucepan and place over medium heat.
Stir until sugar dissolves when mixture begins to bubble cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside until ready to serve.
How to Make Ahead:
- Create the skewers and place in an airtight container up to 4 hours in advance and refrigerate.
- Place on a platter and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, salt and pepper before serving.
