- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 2/3 cups milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
Preheat waffle iron.
Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk together.
Add milk, vegetable oil and eggs. Mix together until just combined. A few lumps are fine.
Pour 1 cup of batter into waffle iron and cook about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove waffles from waffle iron to a wire rack until ready to serve.
Top with butter and maple syrup or fresh berries and sweetened whipped cream.
