Vidalia Onion Spread

- 1 large Vidalia Onion diced
- 1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon malt vinegar
Add olive oil to a large skillet with onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes. Add white wine vinegar and cook, stirring often until liquid has evaporated and onions start to caramelize.
Add mayonnaise to a medium- size bowl and add in onion mixture, dijon mustard, horseradish, sugar, salt and malt vinegar.
Stir until well combined.
Cover and refrigerated until ready to serve.
