Sweet Cream Glazed Donut Holes from Miss in the Kitchen

Donuts are most definitely my weakness.  I guess I am glad there isn't a Krispy Kreme within 200 miles of the ranch!  These Sweet Cream Glazed Donut Holes were so good that I'm not even missing the Krispy Kreme goodness!

Valentine's Day is the day for giving sweet treats to your sweetheart and for my sweethearts I made donuts.  No slaving away for hours though, I used refrigerated biscuit dough and made the easiest and most delicious glaze using International Delight Coldstone Creamery Sweet Cream!

Sweet Cream Glazed Donut Holes from www.missinthekitchen.com

Using International Delight Gourmet Coffee Creamer to make the glaze really gave it a great boost of flavor.  The flavor combinations are out of this world I tell you!  With flavors like Chocolate Caramel, The Caramel Macchiato, or the Hazlenut....yes I'm starting to drool just thinking about it.

You won't believe how quick and easy this comes together and your sweethearts will be be smiling from ear to ear! Guaranteed!

    Sweet Cream Glazed Donut Holes

    Ingredients:

    for glaze:

    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 7 tablespoons International Delight Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream

    for donut holes:

    • 3 cups vegetable oil
    • 2 16 oz. cans refrigerated biscuits (such as Grands)

    Cooking Directions:

    for glaze:

In a medium size bowl, add powdered sugar and International Delight Sweet Cream and whisk together until smooth.

    for donut holes:

Add oil to a cast iron skillet or heavy bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat until about 350 degrees F.

Cut biscuit dough into quarters and roll into balls.

Fry dough balls about 6 to 8 at a time until lightly browned on all sides, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Drain on a paper towel lined baking sheet.

When donuts have drained on paper towels for about 1 minute, roll in glaze an tap off excess.  Place on a silpat or wax paper lined baking sheet.

    Repeat with remaining ingredients.

    Serve immediately.

    Enjoy!
