Yes, the sugar gets mixed in with the dressing. I have updated the recipe card to include that. I hope you try it!

In reply to John Marshall. It's just shredded cabbage with some slivered carrots. I just chop cabbage and don't use carrots. You need about half a head of a medium head of cabbage.

In reply to John Marshall. It's a mix of shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots. The mix I buy typically is predominantly green cabbage with a little bit of the other two for color.
