I used vegan sausage, frozen spinach (with extra chopping) and sharp cheddar, and it turned out great. Maybe could have used a bit more salt, but that might have been because of the sausage. My husband even encouraged me to make and freeze another one with the leftover sausage and spinach.

I use a large pie plate!!! 9 1/2 to 10” and it works perfectly!!!

Any ground sausage will work. I typically use breakfast sausage.
