Recipe Tips:

This recipe uses half a jalapeño but if you like spicy salsa, go ahead and use a whole jalapeño.

Any variety of tomatoes will work. I’ve made it with Roma tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes and cherry tomatoes.

If you don’t have fresh garlic, you can substitute granulated garlic. 1/4 teaspoon of granulated garlic per clove of fresh garlic will work.

It is a super simple recipe that you can double as needed if you are feeding a crowd.

When I have an abundance of tomatoes, I make this Homemade Salsa that can be refrigerated or canned to enjoy all year long.
