I think you might could make it with I can’t believe it’s not butter and maybe only use 1/2 cup. Let me know how it turns out if you try it.

I there any way to make these dump cakes without butter? I am trying to control high cholesterol with diet only and no medications. Butter is way
off my list if cholesterol free or low cholesterol ingredients. I use applesauce when I make sweet breads and muffins but not sure applesauce or pumpkin puree would work in this case.
