I haven’t tried adding rum but you might substitute for a bit of the eggnog. Let me know how it turns out if you try it.

doing step 1 also ended up with an extremely thick paste. Followed instructions so I don’t know what happened. My only guess is too much pudding or not enough eggnog.

3.4 oz of pudding mix? Are you sure? I ended up with something resembling a thick (really thick), sticky dough.
