We all like nice things and today I’m sharing some of my favorites! This is a sponsored post on behalf of Wayfair.
Welcome to my living room. Normally you only get small shots from the kitchen and mostly shots from my desk where there is amazing natural light for food photos. Today I’m giving you a little peek into the living room. I’ve recently added some lovely pillows and a throw from Wayfair.
I could spend all of my dollars at Wayfair! They have all of the nice things and all of the good stuff for your home! When we moved to Oklahoma summer before last, we bought a new couch. I have been meaning to pick up a few throw pillows to spruce it up a bit.
I actually have a love/hate relationship with living room throw pillows. It goes like this- the kids come crashing through the living room and land on the couch for approximately 8.2 seconds. They grab a pillow, place it in their lap and about that time they go racing off to the next thing. The pillow usually lands in the floor and they are gone…
So I say, “Pick up those pillows!” or “Please get the pillows out of the floor!” about a million times a day. I love the pillows, they look nice, they make the couch more comfy but they are also weapons of destruction when being wielded by teenagers.
I think if you look up the word rambunctious in the dictionary, there would be a picture of my boys! We laugh all the time about that old episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Ray and Robert are wrestling at their parents’ house and they tell them that they are the reason that they can’t have nice things. It’s true and that’s why that show was so darned hilarious.
My throws often wind up as superhero capes and suffer a lot of the same fate as the pillows, so I chose shades of brown and green and I’ve been very pleased at how they have held up. Nice things that are durable and pretty much kid-proof!
There were so many great pillow designs and comfy throws to choose from, that it was a hard decision! Here are a few others that I loved:
- Lattice Damask Cotton Pillow
- Surya Decorative Pillow
- Andorra Cotton Throw
- Dwell Studio Paloma Throw
- Casablanca Market Moroccan Leather Pouf Ottoman
So use that discount code and get to shopping! Lots of great ideas for your Christmas list!
